World Picnic
Celebrating international flavour
From Bollywood dancers to drummers and choirs, on July 24 Campbell Park will be transformed into a space where cultures collide with the World Picnic.
Running from 1-6pm and thanks to a £10,000 grant from the
National Lottery, the picnic features international artists performing throughout the afternoon.
Included in the line-up is a 10-metre pink pig with animatronic head, DJs on stilts, abstract street dancers in a London taxi and music, make- up and costume making workshops. There will also be community, food, craft and vintage stalls at the picnic.
