WUp all night. My thoughts as I get more tired...
ell I’m sitting watching the referendum results. Early results look quite good for the leave campaign. I’ve
always detested the EU. Ok our MPs might be a slightly dodgy lot but at least we can vote them out directly. Anyway all that matters little now as we’ve all done our bit.
The BBC are clearly hoping for Remain to win and are all looking a bit grumpy.....oops it’s 2.30 now and Remain are in the lead now. Could be close, which is more fun. Everyone looks happier now. The Establishment has the clever money on it now.
All I can work out at the moment is that some money market players are making big money, buying and selling currency, and I suppose that’s quite apt as money is what it’s all about. So it’s looking good for Remain still. Another cup of tea I think.
Well I’ve made my tea and nothing much has changed. I’m now considering going to bedasI’vegottogotoWatfordonajobat 09.00. but no, it’s too interesting. I have to say
I didn’t think it would be this close. I thought that Remain would win fairly easily.
In the dark gloom of the morning, I do wonder why the PM decided to have this referendum when it’s clear he thinks we’ll all go to hell in a handcart if we leave. I don’t think he’s ring on all cylinders to be honest.
Some of my more radical friends have been telling everyone they’ll leave the country if we leave the EU. That’s the rich ones at any rate. Funnily enough it’s my rich friends who tend to be for Remain....ooh stop press they’re both on 50%. So what happens If it’s a dead heat.... oh no, not another blooming referendum.... surely not. I don’t think I could bear it. I’d rather
Remain won I think....oops Remain is back in front.
I really do want to go to bed....but no I’ll just see what Milton Keynes does, I think. I’ve just taken the dog out for a run and I’ve come back and Leave is in the lead....aha Milton Keynes has voted to leave....and Leave is back in front.
I must go to bed.....Better just wait and see what Birmingham does...
Well looks like it’s Brexit. That’s told the Establishment that they can’t just hand over the power we lease them every ve years.
I told Mark Lancaster he was taking a bit of a risk jumping ship at the last minute. MPs never listen to me. Perhaps they will in future...they blooming well ought to considering we’ve just given them their power back.
Now I’ve got to go and get an hours kip, and then put in a stage at Watford. My mate Brian who’s helping me is a rabid pro European.....I wonder what we’re going to natter about all day? Night night.
