All the profits made from the exhibition went to the Friends of All Saint’s fund raising appeal – the group has been established to raise money for the development of the Church’s facilities to attract wider use of the Church itself. Funds raised to-date have helped towards the establishment of kitchen and toilet facilities, and a gathering area in the Church.

On the Field
Major changes have taken place on the management and playing staff front – despite nishing in 4th place and reaching the Berks and Bucks Cup Final, Olney Town are determined to keep progressing up the football ladder with promotion a real target.
Neil Grif ths has rejoined the Club as 1st Team Manager and will be ably assisted by Ben Hill as his Assistant Manager, Chris Pink as 1st Team Coach and Diego Vasquez as Goal-keeping Coach. The Reserves will also be looking to improve on their top 3 nish last season and will be looking to pick up some silverware, the management team of Dave Morgan and Luke Carey led by Reserve Team Manager Jamie Lands continues to provide consistency and bring youth through. Neil Grif ths: “I am absolutely delighted to be back in management with a club that I know very well – un nished business to be done! It is a really exciting challenge, each time I’ve joined a club previously they have been in the lower reaches of their division and the appointment has come with little pressure. “The good work of Steve Kuhne means that improvement would represent a top three finish and winning the County Cup. The new and different challenge makes us all the more driven to once again improve the football club.
“Personally the break has done me wonders, I have increased my coaching quali cations, watched plenty of football and tried to make sure I’ve developed and not stood still.
“Completing my management team is Ben Hill (a former Olney Town player) as Assistant Manager, Chris Pink as Coach and Diego Vasquez as Goal Keeping Coach. Between the four of us we have coaching badges up to UEFA B and playing experience at every level of the pyramid from professional to grassroots.”
Indeed as we write this the season is well underway, the 1st Team are unbeaten in their 3 league games to date, an opening day draw against Blackstones was followed by a great 3-0 at Wellingborough Whitworths and a very creditable 2-2 draw at much fancied Long Buckby – Neil Grif ths is building a squad based on youth and experience and the signs look very positive for the season. Meanwhile the Reserves got their season underway with a 2-0 win against Thrapston Town at East St followed by an exciting 1-1 draw against local rivals Newport Pagnell, which was watched by a crowd of over 200. And last but not least we have our Vets Team who ply their trade in the Milton Keynes Veterans League, managed by Mark Kerr – they play their games on Sunday mornings and can be watched on either the main East St pitch or on the Charity Field.
